Retain - Change a Student's Grade Level

To change a student’s grade level, or to retain a student, please follow these steps:

1. Go to the grade level Digital Data Wall and select the Hallway button to display the Hallway “class.”  Toggle Add, Move, or Retain Students to On.

   

2. Drag and drop the student you want to move or retain into the Hallway

   

3. Go to Students > Hallway.

   

4. Drag the student into the desired grade level Hallway.  In this example Jim Minns is being retained from 2nd grade to 1st grade.

   

5. Navigate to the desired grade level Digital Data Wall.  Move the student from the Hallway into a class.
