# Scoring Guide

### Class Composer Scoring Guide

The 9 - 1 scale offers flexibility to be precise in the assessment of your students. If you don’t need to be so precise select an 8, 5, or 2.

### Reading Scoring Guide

The reading score selection will determine the overall Student Cell color unless a 2 or 1 is selected for Behavior - *see our Behavior Scoring Guide below.*

**Assessments to Guide Scores on the 9 - 1 Scale**

We recommend each grade level establish guidelines as to what score on what assessment shown on the Student Card will correlate to our 9 - 1 scale.
