Here are the directions for doing an initial roster import for students in a split class. The image below shows Connie Sinclair has a ½ split class. The system assigned her class number 4.
Select the Import Students button from the Digital Data Wall > CSV Template. In the CSV sheet you would only import students who belong to this grade level. In the example shown below, 1st grade was selected as the grade level:
The sheet that is generated will represent the students who are in first grade only. In the example sheet shown below the students who are 2nd graders in Connie’s ½ split class won’t be included:
After the import has been completed you will see the students in the 1st grade Digital Data Wall view:
Follow the same steps to import the students in the other grade level. In this example you would navigate to the 2nd grade Digital Data Wall > Import Students.
