# Blind Sort

If you would like to minimize bias when your teachers are creating classes you can select Yes for Blind Sort in Settings.

With a Blind Sort your teachers won't be able to see the next year's teacher names on the Compose screen.

**Keep with Teacher Placement Request is Disabled** With blind sort enabled the Keep with Teacher placement request option will be disabled.  *If teachers are able to select this they will know which teacher is assigned to which class.*
