Prev Next

Archiving a student takes them out of the classroom and the Digital Data Wall. As an admin, you can then choose to permanently delete the student or restore them back to the same classroom.

Archiving an Individual Student

To archive a student, open their student card and click the Archive icon in the upper right corner of their card. This will be move the student to the Students > Archived Students page.

Deleting Students

As an admin, you can permanently deleted an archived student. Go to Students > Archived Students:

  • For individual student deletion, select the checkbox by that students name > Permanently Delete Selected.

  • For bulk deletion, select the first checkbox at the top left of the table > Permanently Delete Selected.

Bulk Deletion - Delete All Students to Start Over

Are you looking to reset your entire school (delete all of your current students) to start from scratch. Here are the directions:

  • Go to Settings > Select Yes for Archive Students in Bulk.

  • Go to the grade level Digital Data Wall.

  • For each class select the trash icon > Yes to Archive Students.

  • Repeat for all the classes and all the grade levels.

  • To permanently delete - which is recommended - before importing the fresh batch of students go to: Students > Archived Students > select the first checkbox at the top left of the table > Permanently Delete Selected.

Restoring a Student

To restore a student from the archive click on the circular arrow next to their name under the Action heading on the "Archived Students" page. They will be restored to the grade level they were archived from. If their original class is still there, you will find them in it, and if it has been deleted, you will find them in the hallway of that same grade.

You can't find the student you just restored?

The best way to find where a student is located would be to navigate to the All Students page and search for them.
